Nice drive, great food, friends, family...and hilarious stories of my sister's journey - My sister at her first day in a new job, "So I had to tell her that she'd never have enough power to take God away from him. I mean, he's God...I couldn't believe she kept saying that..."
Conversations about God, blessings of thanksgiving over food, and the emotional pains of changing family relationships - somethings are just awkward and difficult. Especially in a tiny apartment. With the 'day' over I'm off to try and wind up my year in under two days...hopefully to return to a easy-going day or two without so much internal dialogue.
It's wonderful to see that Christmas is more than a day...and I do enjoy the chocolate.
